About Exhibit

Mokkiten Japan 2023
Chairman Hideki HASEGAWA
Japan Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers Association will hold “Mokkiten Japan 2023” from October 5th (Thursday) to 7th (Saturday), 2023 at Port Messe Nagoya.
This exhibition will be the 46th as the largest exhibition of wood processing machinery in Japan.
This time, it will be held at the newly established Port Messe Nagoya New Exhibition Hall No. 1. The New No. 1 Exhibition Hall is one of the largest in Japan, with approximately 20,000 square meters of pillarless space, and is directly connected to Kinjofuto Station on the Aonami Line, making it a very convenient exhibition venue for visitors.
The theme of this exhibition is “Work that connects forests and people”. Japan has abundant forest resources. It is our urgent task to use this renewable resource carefully. One of the answers is the utilization of wood by wood processing machines. A wood processing business that connects precious forest resources, which are the blessings of nature, to people’s lives. Now that wooden skyscrapers are being built one after another, the wood processing industry is needed to realize a sustainable society. Please see “Work that connects forests and people”
In order to make this exhibition a valuable exhibition for everyone, we will introduce all kinds of technologies that utilize DX for the future of the wood industry, AI, IoT, robots that solve labor shortages, etc. We will make it a big event where cutting-edge technologies and solutions that create society will come together.
This exhibition is the largest exhibition of the wood processing industry in Japan, organized by an association of woodworking machinery manufacturers. In addition to domestic manufacturers and sales companies, many overseas manufacturers have gathered together to develop cutting tools, paints, adhesives, drying, A large amount of cutting-edge information on dust collection, architecture, furniture hardware, DIY, and related equipment will be provided to visitors. At the same time, exhibitions by universities and research institutes, as well as symposiums and seminars will be held in parallel to operate as a comprehensive wood industry technology exhibition.
In addition, Wood Wonderland 2023 is scheduled to be held from October 5th (Thursday) to 8th (Sunday). We will strive to promote the use of domestic timber and promote the timber industry by providing general customers with opportunities to come into contact with wood.
We would like to ask everyone concerned to understand the situation and exhibit a large number of technologies and solutions that enable new resource supply based on the current state of Japan’s forest resources.
